I don't want us to claim support for neon 0.24 if we have to add an
disclaimer that "Oh, but something that currently works if you are
using 0.23.9 won't work if you upgrade." David's new functionality
can come in any time he sees fit to add it. But I think we should at
least avoid *losing* functionality for people who upgrade to Neon
0.24.
