I don't think that's such a good idea.

Perhaps we're not seeing problems on MacOS X because not too many
people are running SVN servers on it? If it is a problem, then
we'd need to figure out the BDB issue sooner than later.

How many people have SVN repositories on Mac OS X with BDB 4.1.25?
