Yes... but it may be better to yank a feature when we're in alpha than
it would be to leave it in for 1.0 and then, much later, later tell
everyone who uses it that they have to change the way they're doing
stuff.

(But, my previous comment stands; we seem to have passed beyond the veil
of being able to subtract features without causing bad will, despite the
alpha designation.)
