SVNSERVE as service under Win2000?

Hi all out there!

Searching the archive I found that snvserve would not really run as
service under Win2000 (yet), not even even with helper program
XNET. However, the messages I found were some months old.

So my question if that has already changed. In v0.25 I could run
svnserve in a DOS box, but it would not return to the prompt and
could be terminated by CTRL-C only. This is OK for experimental
but not daily use here.

Or would Apache generally be the server of choice for Windows
systems?

TIA - God bless!

Jan Hendrik
