As of Subversion 0.25.0 I've compiled three sets of packages, each on
their own distribution. Up until now, the RedHat 8.0 Subversion packages
would work on RedHat 9 (with a the backward compatable openssl096b
package) but I hadn't gotten Subversion and supporting packages built on
RedHat 9.

Now that everything is compiled and built on RedHat 9, you shouldn't need
the "magic" backward compatable openssl096b package because, it should
just work fine with the RH9 openssl (0.9.7a) package.

Does that make sense?

Does that answer your question?
