Which reminds me:

Another part of patch management is determining what has already been
applied, usually by searching for the patch submitter's name in the
'svn log' output (since it should always be included by the committer,
unless the patch was obviated by some other commit).

(Hope you're recording/editing all this somewhere, Paul, so the next
person to inherit the job has it all in one place :-) .)
