Work on non-native Eclipse plug-in

I was wondering if there is any work going on to produce a non-native plugin of Subversion for Eclipse, everything around relies on native *.dll files from what I have found and I am not up to the task of hacking around with the SVN-UP stuff to produce something that would do the trick although I am going to try and tinker as I have time with it...
