I have svnserve 0.23.0 running on Linux.
(Why is there no --version for svnserve?)
And was using svn 0.23.0 on Windows 2K (Installer-Version).
Now I installed 0.24.1 from
and I get:
C:\testsvn\test3>svn ls svn://svnserver
svn: Malformed network data
svn: Malformed network data

Is this ok?
It would be very difficult to update all instances at the same time.
That can't be.

Or is there a rule like the server has to be higher than the client?
