I have imported the APC (All Perl Changes) into a subversion repository; this is
roughly 16000 revisions for a total of 540MB storage. I can confirm that
subversion is very responsive; effectively, it is about the same speed as using
rsync versus the ActiveState site, yet I can also switch between bleadperl and
any of the maintenance releases.
