That design doc was written over three years ago, before we ever wrote
a line of code. It's extremely old. But I believe we've cut out all
the factually wrong things; it might provide a good background, or at
least some historic interest.
If you want to understand svn's architecture, the best thing to do is
start by reading the HACKING file. And then read the public svn_*.h
headers, which are full of design explanations.
