svn log and copies

Hello,
there's one thing that bothered be about Subversion for a long time, but which
I can't find in tracker. Suppose that WC directory I'm in was remaned in revision
100. When I run "svn log" it shows the revision 100 and all changes prior to it.
However, if I try to run "svn log -r 90", or get a diff of any revision prior to rename,
I get error. The attached script reproduces it --- I've tested with 0.23.

Is this a known bug? What are the plans for handling it?

Thanks,
Volodya
