Remote user can't checkout repository

Both users are using WinXP, when my friend tries to checkout the repository,
he gets the following
error:

E:\www>svn checkout http://x.x.x.x:8080/svn/oe/trunk/ oe

A oe/include

svn: RA layer request failed

svn: could not fetch directory entries

svn: PROPFIND of /svn/!svn/bc/21/oe/trunk/include: Could not read chunk
size: Li

ne too long

I've done a trace route on it using Ethereal, it's a 30KB text file, I'll
post it if I need to.

I'll be great if someone knows what is wrong with this.
