Sheesh.

You have *got* to love it when you realize that it's only by sheer
luck (and the lack of strong sanity-checking) that one of the core
operations of your software has managed to not be failing for the
past, oh, really really long time.

On behalf of everyone who has even done a Subversion commit, a hearty
thank-you to an editor interface that, while demanding
depth-first-ness in the comments, doesn't enforce it in the code.

(Sheesh. The things you find while stepping through code...)
