Those would be nice, I suppose. I know I'm just stuck in 'CVS think',
but I imagine a whole lot of people will be sharing that affliction.
The per-file version numbers in RCS do tell me something about an
individual file's level of historical stability, and I personally like
seeing some correlate of how much work has gone into a file over time
at the top of the files as I edit them.
