Working copy not locked

Hi,

I got this message when I try to commit in the toplevel directory

% svn ci -m"toto"
svn: Working copy not locked
svn: Are all the targets part of the same working copy?
svn: directory not locked (/home/prudhomm/Devel/GST/gstgen)

I checked appendix C but nothing about that.
what should be done in this case ?

svn: Are all the targets part of the same working copy?
yes (at least if I understand the question, the answer is yes unless
I did not do something right)

Best regards
C.
