Nothing. It's quite O.K. to require Python in order to build on Windows.
Most Windows users will be using the pre-built binaries or installer, so
whoever wants to build SVN themselves can dam' well install Python. It's
one of the less involved dependencies, anyway.

Right. As for new concepts... we already have --with-httpd, so it should
be no trouble at all to add --with-berkeley-db, --with-apr*, etc. After
0.22.

Of course, the most important bit right now is getting the shape of the
tree in the output directory right, so that the tests have a chance of
working.
