that's ok with me. I think doing it your way reduces the number of
changes and makes the compatibility issue a bit easier.

But because of your comments about the uuid I'm wondering if it's worth
to go on. ;) I wouldn't like to spend my time on this topic if it's
never needed.
So far I'm not so deep into subversion to decide this for myself...
