Apache's copy of APR is used only for building/linking mod_dav_svn.so.
The client binaries and svnserve are linked statically with the APR
inside the Subversion source tree.

No, your APR is probably too old. You need 0.9.3 or whataver comes with
httpd-2.0.45.
