Just a meta-note: the reason Mike got confused is that you're using
the word "HEAD" where we usually use "trunk".

In Subversion, "HEAD" just means the youngest revision in the
repository, and "trunk" is a path which the repository users do not
consider to be a branch :-). So it's perfectly meaningful to talk
about the HEAD of some branch.

(I think this was the original meaning of HEAD in CVS, but it's been
corrupted to mean the default branch, i.e., trunk, as well).
