Colin Watson has backported the unstable packages to woody. Add this
line to your sources.list file on your woody machines:

deb http://people.debian.org/~cjwatson/subversion-woody ./

And viola :) Unfortunately, you can't have apache2 and apache installed
at the same time, but if you don't need apache1.3 for any particular
reason, those packages work great (I use them here on all our woody
boxen). If you only want the client, then there are no barriers at
all :)

He seems to be updating them a few days after David Kimdom creates the
unstable packages.
