I haven't been following this thread too closely, so I'm not
completely sure what svndumpfilter's purpose is, however, if
someone's looking for a scripted filter, and doesn't mind perl, I'll
gladly take a stab at it. And since, as Greg put it:

IMO, this screams for a perl solution :)
