I agree, what is the versioning fairy going to come down and curse
you for never accessing the earlier versions of a file? Just
version them, it isn't going to hurt anything. If you really don't
want to be hastled with commiting the changes then they are
obviously tmp files that don't belong in the directory tree at all
and should probably be created when you checkout similar to the GNU
Changelog files. But don't feel bad if you are versioning more than
you think you need. Remember, versioning is like security, you
don't realize you need it until you are getting screwed.
