This should be part of the standard Emacs distro, shouldn't it?
I set my EDITOR/VISUAL envariables to 'gnuclient' and everything
'just works'.

(of course, I'm running exclusively on UNIX/Linux, not Windows,
though I'd expect the same to apply if you're using CygWin).

I could never get this to work for me. Though I imagine it has
something to do with the fact that I'm running XEmacs not GNU/FSF
Emacs.
