Re: Checksum error like David Oxley's

John,

I ran all of your reproduction recipes, using the dumpfile you sent my
privately. I can't reproduce the checksum errors using the latest
Subversion.

(Since a few checksum bugs have been fixed since checksums were
introduced, this isn't entirely surprising.)

You indicated that you didn't want your repository's contents made
public, so I won't include a transcript of my session. I'll just say
that updating from rev 53 to 59 worked fine, as did updating to
restore a versioned directory that had been removed with 'rm -rf'.

Note that I loaded the dumpfile using HEAD Subversion, into a
repository created using HEAD Subversion, and then the client and
server I used were both HEAD. Perhaps the bug would reproduce if I
went back and used a 0.17.1 server or something, but my main concern
is to establish that a) your dumpfile was correct, and b) that
Subversion _today_ doesn't have whatever problem you encountered.

-Karl
