Perl bindings?

Hi,

I vaguely remember someone mentioning something about perl bindings
for svn. Is anyone still working on these? If so, how's it going?
If not, I have a need to be able to use svn from within perl scripts,
and might be willing to take a crack at it if someone out there
wouldn't mind mentoring me along in the ways of swig.
