Sorry to reply twice. I figure you're thinking about adding a pool
parameter. Since the function gives out a shallow copy of the
single instance associated with the remote repository (and cached
in the session-baton) I'm not sure that it's important/necessary
to add one here. However, I could be wrong; especially now that
we (read: "you") killed ra->close().
