Good point.

Note to all: our test suite has been defined to run against Python 2.0. Not
2.1, 2.2, or even 2.3. Lowly, *old* Python 2.0.

We can certainly change that (I wouldn't mind stating Python 2.2), but we
should be clear about it before assuming/using features after 2.0.
