Can you make "PATCH" issues for the patches below that are not already
associated with some issue? The descriptions should reference the
same mailing list URLs.

(And for those which are associated with an issue already, the issue
may want the thread URLs to be added to the issue's description.)

Once these are in the tracker, it will be easy to mark a patch as
started, add notes about progress, and resolve it. I realize this
sounds like an additional layer of bureaucracy -- and it is :-) -- but
it's a lot easier to grab something out of a common pool if that pool
is centralized and looks the same to everyone.
