Whilst I can understand you wanting this, I've never seen it as very
important, and sometimes I view it as dangerous (basically, it allows
you to rewrite history, which I'm always wary of, even when it's done
with the best of intentions).

Ah, so you'd be removing stuff from the load into a _new_ repository.
