static svn build do not work porperly

hi

i build a static svn;

i checked it on the computer w/ the repository: (mandrake 9.1)

./svn co http://192.168.1.4/svn test_repository

everything worked fine.
the repository was checked out.

now i transfered the static svn build to another linux maschine (mandrake
9.0)

i tried also an checkout, but nothing happens.

when i look @ top i see this:

test 30861 94.3 1.4 3228 880 pts/0 R 21:38 2:34 ./svn checkout
ht

what could be going wrong here?
