Multiple users and authentication

Hi,
I'm about to setup a version control repository, my initial plan was CVS
but when I found subversion I got curious. From what I see the product
is good enough to use but I have some quesitons about the mulituser part.
Subversion uses Apache and the mulituser part and authentication is
handled by apache authentication. Apache autehntication might be
extended to handle quite alot of authentication protocols so it's not
really clear what autentication is supported by the clients. What kind
of autentication is defined by the protocols?

Most users on my system are Win32 users so I wonder if there are any
plans to support windows authentication? (I think there are apache
modules for this... not realy sure...)
I also was lookin into getting ViewCVS (or ViewSVN) running under Win32,
is it possible and is there any binaries available?

Anyway, I know this is alpha code so I understand if things aren't
finnished yet. But I must say that it looks promissing.

Ps. CC any answers to me since I'm not on the list
