Internal diff bug?

I ran update in my working copy a bit ago, and process churned
indefinitely. I Control-C'd, then run cleanup. Indefinite churn.
Attaching with gdb, I stayed around long enough to notice that I was
in the diff code. Then I tarred up that WC dir, and am mailing the
list. Attached is (hopefully, if I can get gnus to work right), my
working copy. You should be able to unpack the tarball, and then run
'svn cleanup' from inside the "book" directory to see the endless
loopage.
