Whoa! Isn't that a bit like crushing a flea with a sledge hammer? I'm
not going to sign up for yet another email address so I can post to the
subversion list. And then I have to somehow configure my mail client so
it uses that address as the From address when sending to certain emails?
  I don't see how that can possibly work.

Personally, I think I'll just start running my bayesian filter on the
mailing list as well as my normal inbox (and as Alexis pointed out,
requiring subscribed users helps too).
