I read your statement as "IMO, not as confusing *to others* as ripping
this back out." If your opinion's only about what is confusing to
you, of course I wouldn't contradict it. If it's about what's
confusing in general, to other developers, then I'm just saying I
don't think this reversion will be confusing to others. It was easy
to revert, and will be easy to unrevert should we go that route (it
looks like the change will take a different form anyway, from the
discussions).
