Do you pronounce "svn" as "S V N", rather than "subversion", "seven"
or "sven"? As someone who uses something between "seven" and "sven", I
prefer 'A' to 'An'.

Maybe the book needs a pronunciation section at the start so that the
rest reads correctly.
