hmm ... maybe eliminating all the "props" and put it in the "entries"
file helps, ie:
- props
- prop-base
- wcprops

also it is not clear why a "readme" is needed, a "format", a
"dir-wcprops" and a "empty-file". if you really need it, why not put
it where the lock-file should go, or in "entries".
