DB 4.1.24 large mem footprint

Hi
yesterday I mentioned among other things that commiting of a a kernel tree (280M)
ended up being killed. But it's not a scalability problem as Ben suggested.
The OOM killer in the kernel killed svn because it used to much memory.
I recompiled svn with db 4.0.14 (as opposed to yesterday's 4.1.24) and it works just fine.
Yesterday free showed continuous increase of used memory but today it stayed constant.
I have not tried 4.1.25 to see if that helps.

Jani.
