Not to my knowledge. I've had it hang but it's always been when I
CTRL-C'ed or other things. I might be seeing something like this but if I
am it is masked by other things. I've had some strange things happen with
8.0 so I'm going back to 7.3 on my server (as we speak) but for other
things than just Subversion. I believe that all the problems I was seeing
with subversion were fixed with 4559 which I've now deployed several
places without any problems (yet).

Interesting. Are you all using RedHats db-4.x package? Did RedHat screw
up it's Berkeley DB RPMs? Or maybe its kernel locking primitives? Ah,
lots of interesting questions here...
I'm running stock kernel and DB4 on RedHat 8.0 with Subversion RPMs. I'm
running a modified DB4 (as close to RedHat 8.0 as will work on RedHat
7.3 ) with RPMs.
David,
Are you seeing Subversion server hangs with your RedHat 8.0 kernel and
DB4 RPMs?
Best,
Blair
