Heh, I guess your patch means that HEAD svn will only compile against
HEAD apr again, then? :-)

I understand the need to fix apr as subversion progresses (Brane,
especially, as he works on the i18n stuff). I just hope that by .18
we can go back to compiling against httpd/apr 2.0.45 or whatever.

Our schitzophrenic policy is driving me nuts. On one hand, we try to
claim that svn releases build against http/apr releases. Our INSTALL
file even says so. On the other hand, we keep fixing apr, and then
find ourselves helpless, because we can't force a new httpd/apr
release out the door just because svn wants to release.

This would all be a heck of a lot simpler if apr were released
regularly, as an independent project.
