I still did not get it. Does this mean I need them both? Where do I
put them? apachectl responds with an error:

  Syntax error on line 8 of /usr/local/apache2/conf/svn.conf:
  DAVGenericLockDB not allowed here

Could you mail a specific example? Probably this issue should be
mentioned in the INSTALL file?
