Well, with little bit more thought, I could have come to the
conclusion that this topic must have come up before. And yes,
it is even referred to in the design document.

One thing though: the design document only refers to switches to
"svn log", whereas it seems that the ambiguity applies everywhere
where you can use the "-r" option.
