Well the best place to keep track of where I'm headed is:
http://www.cdrguys.com/subversion/index.html
This link is already suffering from time rot.
I will update it soon.
Specifically, after re-reading some of gsteins comments I decided to
attempt two levels of indirection.
A FS implementor can re-implement the whole (beneath veneer) or hook-in
some DB routines and use most all of the existing logic.
Or for crazy people like myself. You can start with the existing logic
and replace specifc routines one at a time. During a phase two SQL
development process, I anticipate some of the existing logic being
broken out to the util directory that c-mike started.
My current belief is that I will be able to re-use most of the FS code
for SQL round one. It won't be a barn burner by any strech.

I will post some iterim patches for people to beat up over soon.

Thanks,
gat
