Speaking of the book, I'd like to say a couple of things real quick-like.

Fitz, Ben, and myself are in the process of pretty much gutting the
old handbook content and replacing it with new stuffs. Because of the
sheer size of the delta that will exist between what is present now in
the "not-yet-rewritten" parts versus the way those sections will look
after we've done our rewrite of those areas (and after O'Reilly's
super-talented editors donate their changes back to the source, too),
mods to those areas might get lost in the fray.

Of course, the spirit of your change will be there as we work on the
rewrites, influencing our minds and pens -- er, keystrokes -- so
please don't refrain from contributing ideas or content for those
sections. Just don't get bummed if you see your beautiful prose
mangled and transformed.

Also, we *welcome* fixes and new content to those chapters that have
already had their mass rewrites -- we'll need everyone's help making
sure the information, especially the examples and such, are kept up to
date! Those chapters should have less flux.

We'll try to put comments at the top of the chapters that haven't yet
been slammed through the grinder. Heck, it'll help us keep track of
what's been done and what hasn't! :-)
