kernel import part two

Hi again,

so here is the second issue I get when importing the kernel sources using
the svn_load_dirs.pl script. After the script checked in about 4 releases,
it breaks on the fifth with the following message:

svn: RA layer request failed
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: MERGE request failed on /svn/repos/linux
svn: MERGE of /svn/repos/linux: timed out waiting for server

this looks similar to the first error message, however it happens much
later. Maybe I should note that after this operation the httpd consumes
well over 1GB!! of RAM (and we are not talking about importing big files
here as discussed right now in other threads). Is this an architectual
limitation? Or a bug? And how are other people with big repositories
handling this problem?

Michael
