Ah, O.K. then. I just hoped somebody could confirm my suspicions: it
looks like we have different behaviour in release and debug modes on
Windows again...*sigh* I ran your test in debug mode, and the [default]
proxy config works; it doesn't in release mode. The debugger choked on
an exception during pool cleanup, but I haven't been able to track that
down yet. It could be us, or it could be APR, who knows.
If only the damned thing would coredump; but no, that's way too easy to
debug.
