Uhh... Subversion depends on APR which is DEFINITELY non standard. :)
Hell, subversion ITSELF is currently nonstandard. :) While I'd probably
grumble about having to upgrade to DB 4.1... If it fixes a lot of
problems/possible problems, then I'd say GO for it! (Note: ONLY so long
as there's a conversion program if needed from 4.0 to 4.1.)

As far as I know, there's no "official" packaging of subversion yet.
