Please know that I speak with absolutely no authority
at all. To the subversion project, I am nothing more
than an interested lurker.

That said, may I suggest that if this list frustrates you,
please don't read it. The only thing about this list
which frustrates me is watching your continued efforts
to alter the course of the project.

Like I said, I'm just a spectator. If the true leaders of
this forum believe I am speaking out of line, I will accept
their pushback. But I *like* this project the way it is,
and I want to watch the 1.0 release come to its natural
and successful closure. It looks to me like the CollabNet
guys are bending over backwards to remain constructive
in their feedback to you. I mean no offense either, but
I want the status quo to get its fair share of strong
advocacy.

Tom, you're obviously a smart guy with a lot of potential
value-add. But I think you underestimate the value of
having a team which is focused on a well-defined mission.
Focus is a precious thing, and the subversion team has
it. Please, join me in supportively wishing them the
best of luck in the final mile of their marathon. I
like talking about blue skies and futures too, but today's
release is the one that makes the future releases possible.
