I've been seeing a lot of this type of situation lately, both on the list and
in my own tree. There seem to be many causes; the one I remember affecting
me related to svn move'ing a directory, which caused the error, but svn copy
and delete worked fine.

Anyway, did something change in the directory locking code to cause all of
these problems?
