Um. Have you browsed the subversion issue tracker? Take the query
form, select all the versions that are between 0.14.4 and 1.0.

If there are feature additions or bug fixes there that in your opinion
can wait beyond 1.0 - I think you are free to point them out here -
and I think the collab.net folks here would be very pleased to get any
unnecessary features scheduled past 1.0.

In my opinion, subversion is practically in a freeze. The issues that
need to be solved before 1.0 are mostly recognized - and I bet the
core developers have quite a good focus on exactly those issues.

As for other developers (such as me), who seem to be doing stuff that
is not directly relevant to 1.0 - I guess that's our shame. However,
as open source goes, everyone is free to do what one personally feels
as important. I don't think anything can - or should - change that.
