Symlinks was one of the first things that caught my eye when I was looking
over the proposed feature set for Subversion last year when I learned of
Subversion. I would REALLY REALLY REALLY like to see this working as of
1.0 if possible. If it could somehow do other special files also then
even better. Especially if not a lot of code churn is required to
implement it.

Maybe I can start working on some byte-size projects to learn the code....
